We are seeking a Supervisor for Kitchen Maintenance to oversee the maintenance operations of our kitchen facilities.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge in kitchen equipment, electrical systems, and LPG systems, as well as good understanding of preventive maintenance and condition monitoring.
The role will involve:
- Providing professional advisory services and support to the Chief Construction MEP
- Overseeing and managing the Maintenance Request System
- Controlling, initiating, and executing assigned capital projects
- Analyzing and monitoring utility costs
- Supervising the overall cost control aspects of maintenance
- Conducting routine inspections of kitchen equipment
- Managing and supervising the Fire Protection Preventive Maintenance Program
- Inspecting fire safety and technical features
- Maintaining accurate records related to machinery and equipment
- Implementing cost-effective Preventive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring Programs
- Supervising daily operations and maintenance of the building
- Liaising with and overseeing on-site Property Maintenance Contractors
- Carrying out emergency repairs
- Ensuring expenditures align with the department budget and capital plan
- Participating in the development of the Strategic Business and Operational Plan
- Preparing monthly projections and reports
- Attending meetings as necessary
- Executing quality Team Enhancement opportunities
- Conducting development and performance reviews
- Implementing and maintaining a training system
- Drafting work schedules and annual leave schedules
- Assisting in the selection and appointment of new members
- Holding regular meetings with staff
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislative requirements
- Actively promoting a caring work environment
- Being responsible for the cleanliness of mechanical/plant equipment rooms
- Preparing technical reports as needed
- Promoting, sharing ideas, and contributing to the development of new activities
- Executing action plans to ensure consistency in improvements and achievement of sustainability goals
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the field (kitchen equipment and systems)
- Strong technical knowledge in kitchen equipment, electrical systems, and LPG systems
- Good understanding of preventive maintenance and condition monitoring
- Financial skills, including expense control and monitoring financial procedures
- Ability to plan and organize resources for various business levels
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to be a Change Agent and drive the pursuit of continuous improvement
- Leadership, delegation, motivation, and team-building skills
- Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
- Professionalism
- Good knowledge of information systems
