Senior Consultant in M&A Transaction Diligence, Execution & Reporting team required to lead analysis of financial data for companies targeted for sale in due diligence engagements.

As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the analysis of financial data for companies targeted for sale in due diligence engagements
  • Driving the team towards excellence, prioritizing teamwork, quality, and effective communication with senior members
  • Fostering the professional growth of associates and senior associates, providing mentorship and guidance to help them excel in their roles
  • Playing a critical role in navigating complex transactions and ensuring thoroughness in analysis
  • Overseeing project timelines, allocating resources efficiently, and liaising with clients to ensure their needs are met effectively

Key responsibilities include:

  • Writing and reviewing reports, including findings and recommendations from M&A transaction financial due diligence perspective
  • Communicating effectively with all levels of engagement management
  • Balancing multiple engagements and responsibilities
  • Participating and leading at meetings with clients and stakeholders for projects
  • Preparing proposals, presentations, and tender documents, including drafting the scope of work and estimating costs
  • Demonstrating an understanding of risk associated with engagements and developing mitigation plans
  • Preparing internal documentation, including working papers and engagement acceptance procedures
  • Employing a structured approach to project management to ensure client satisfaction and project profitability
  • Developing expertise in a specialization and building a reputation as a Deloitte financial advisor
  • Contributing to practice growth and development
  • Participating in the development and delivery of training programs
  • Coaching and mentoring practitioners to their highest potential
  • Assisting in improving technical proficiency of the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance/Business from a reputable university with a minimum GPA of 3.00
  • Master’s degree in Finance or professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, ASIA, CPA, CA, and CMA are advantageous
  • Professional demeanor and strong English communication skills, both written and oral
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in M&A environment, including understanding working papers, financial statements, trial balance, bookkeeping process, and transaction due diligence
  • Due diligence/transaction expert professional experience is preferred
  • Strong Auditor/Advisor experience in Big-4/investment banking and Private Equity is an added advantage

Technical expertise:

  • Excellent professional communication and presentation skills
  • Excellent business diagnostic, analytical, and logical skills
  • Advance financial statement analysis
  • Advance use of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
  • Familiarity with IFRS and Indonesian Accounting standards

Business acumen:

  • Able to professionally communicate insights from analysis
  • Strong commitment to working in a challenging professional environment
  • Ability to work independently, unsupervised, with attention to detail
  • Adhere to professional attitude and willing to develop junior members of the team to ensure their career development
  • Willingness to keep continuous learning and adapt to dynamic situations
  • Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct

Flexibility:

  • Willingness to travel as required by client service engagements and work at the office or client premises as needed
