About the Role

As a Database Administration Team Lead, you will be responsible for managing and administering the backbone of our technological infrastructure. You will be the architect of the system, shaping the base definition, structure, and documentation to ensure the long-term success of our business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, install, and maintain database management systems to ensure peak performance.
  • Manage user access and implement the highest standards of security to protect valuable data from unauthorized access.
  • Develop strong backup and recovery plans to ensure system protection in the event of a failure.
  • Support end users and application developers in solving complex problems related to database systems.
  • Implement policies and procedures to safeguard data from external threats.
  • Conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on usage to ensure system scalability.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Windows Server 2016 implementation and management.
  • VMware ESXi experience.
  • Public/private cloud management, especially migration from on-prem to cloud.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Automation experience, especially IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service).
  • Vulnerability management.
  • On prem AD FS (Active Directory Federation Services) with Microsoft Active Directory (AD), and/or Azure AD.
