Loker Czarnikow. Tasks & Responsibilities:Corporate Finance & Consulting Origination / Business Development (Core):
  • CZ Advise origination and liaison across corporate finance and consulting. 
  • Lead the origination of new deals in Indonesia, including identifying opportunities, pitching to potential clients, and securing mandates, with a focus on the Indonesian market.
  • Develop and maintain excellent long-term relationships with existing and potential clients, providing strategic advice and ensuring client satisfaction, serving as the primary point of contact for key CZ Advise clients in Jakarta, 
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, including senior executives and decision-makers. 

Strategic Oversight and Growth of CZ Group (Core): 

  • Collaborate with the regional head and other senior leaders to define and implement strategic growth initiatives for the corporate finance and consulting division.
  • Contribute to the overall business development strategy of CZ Advise and CZ Group
  • Assist and oversee the opening of the Jakarta office, including legal entity registration, office setup and compliance with local regulations. Act as the point of contact ofr external advisors (e.g. legal regulatory, and tax professionals) during the establishment phase. 

Coordination with Corporate Finance Bangkok Execution Hub:

  • Work closely with the execution hub in Bangkok, overseeing the handover of deals for execution while ensuring that client expectations and strategic objectives are met.
  • Remain involved in critical aspects of deal negotiation and execution, particularly those requiring local knowledge or client interaction. Ensuring successful transaction outcome is crucial.

Financial and Market Analysis:

  • Oversee the construction of complex financial models and valuation analyses to support transaction decisions.
  • Conduct thorough industry research and stay informed on market trends to provide insights and advice to clients and internal teams.

We are looking for someone with the following skillset and attributes:

Essential: 

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields; MBA or CFA is desirable.
  • +5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate finance, or at a Big Four firm, with a strong focus on origination and deal leadership.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken), Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia
  • Willingness and ability to travel both domestically and internationally as required.

 Desirable:

  • Experience and proven track record in originating and leading M&A transactions, particularly in the Indonesian FMCG/FNB/Agri/Animal Feed sectors. Experience in the energy and logistics/infrastructure sectors is an advantage.
  • An exceptional communicator and negotiator, able to strongly connect with potential clients and understand their KPIs and pain points. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
  • Demonstrated commercial aptitude with excellent business development skills and ability to coordinate synthesized proposals and deliver on-site pitches.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-pressure projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and delivering results under tight deadlines.
  • Strong teamwork skills and high adaptability.
  • Strong leadership skills with a commitment to mentoring and developing future junior team members (candidate positioned to lead future CZ Advise expansion).
