About Our Client
We are currently working with one of the biggest co-working space company in Indonesia who is looking for a competent GM Operations to help them in this time of growth.
Job Description
1. Customer Satisfaction & Community Engagement
- Ensure a seamless, high-quality member experience by maintaining a clean, functional, and well-equipped co-working space.
Actively engage with members to understand their needs, gather feedback, and address any concerns to foster a strong, supportive community.Oversee the execution of community events, networking opportunities, and workshops to create value and enhance the member experience.Resolve member issues promptly and professionally, ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained.Build and maintain relationships with key clients, corporate members, and vendors to promote long-term partnerships.
2. Operational Excellence
Oversee daily operations, including front-desk management, facility upkeep, and the availability of essential services (e.g., internet, utilities, meeting rooms).Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.Coordinate with the IT and facilities teams to maintain a secure and up-to-date working environment, minimizing downtime.Manage scheduling and staffing to ensure the co-working space is adequately covered during operating hours.Continuously assess and improve internal processes to optimize workflow and productivity.
3. Financial Performance & Goal Achievement
Drive profitability by setting and meeting financial targets, including occupancy rates, revenue growth, and expense control.Monitor financial performance and generate reports on key metrics such as revenue, expenses, and occupancy levels.Oversee the budgeting process, track expenditures, and make recommendations for cost-saving initiatives.Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding service offerings to increase revenue streams.Manage vendor contracts and negotiations to ensure cost-efficiency and quality of services provided.
4. Team Leadership & Development
Lead, motivate, and manage a team of staff, including community managers, support personnel, and event coordinators.Develop and implement staff training programs to enhance performance and ensure excellent service delivery.Set clear goals and expectations for team members, regularly reviewing their performance and providing constructive feedback.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment to enhance team engagement and productivity.
5. Strategic Planning & Business Development
Work closely with senior management to align operational strategies with the company’s growth objectives.Analyze market trends and member feedback to identify new opportunities for business development and service expansion.Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create strategies for attracting new members and retaining existing ones.Implement initiatives to improve space utilization, member retention, and overall business efficiency.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor’s degree in business management, operations, hospitality, or a related field (MBA preferred).10+ years of experience in operations management, preferably in a service-oriented or co-working environment.Candidates with a background in hospitality management are strongly preferred.Proven experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and developing teams.Excellent customer service skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
