Job Description
The Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, regulatory compliance, capital management, and risk management.Lead the development and execution of financial strategies, including planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, aligned with long-term goals.Implement initiatives to optimize financial performance, focusing on revenue growth, cost management, and capital allocation.Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, tax, audit, and treasury, ensuring robust internal controls and transparency.Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and manage financial risks through effective mitigation strategies.Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team and board, delivering data-driven insights for decision-making.Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team to meet organizational objectives.
The Successful Applicant Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CFO in the banking sector or a large financial services institution.A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CFA) is highly desirable.Strong understanding of banking regulations, financial markets, and best practices in financial management.Proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and reporting. Familiarity with financial management systems, capital management, corporate action, treasury management, and risk management tools.Proven ability to lead large teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.Fluent in English, excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership, the board of directors, and external stakeholders.Agile personality, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions that align with the company’s strategic goals.
