As expansion continues, our client is seeking a professional with at least 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting in multinational company for the job of Finance Controller. The job is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.Key job responsibilities include: Direct report to Country ManagerManage subordinate finance manager, accounting tax staff, purchasing (import), and HR administrationConduct for company treasury management to ensure safety of liquidation and adequate financing support to fast business growthFrame accounting policies and procedures for organization and drive conformance to them across the various functionCollate, develop and present the annual budget for all departments/functions to make the annual budget of company, monitor company performance development with update in rolling forecast in realistic principle Manage tax planning and ensure tax compliance, to ensure local tax requirements are metManage external Reporting to meet local GAAP and IFRS and internal reporting to ensure in time IC reconciliation / dispute settlementsExamine proposals for new projects, new business and new ideas from all functions/departments for financial approval, input finance instruction / information in company business plan preparation to ensure the feasibility of the planLead risk examinations for all functions and report properly to region / group following group risk management guidelinePerform working capital management to ensure quick turn over especially for AR and inventoryEnsure that appropriate controls are in place to achieve compliance with internal policy, group, and relevant legislation and regulationCollaborate with management team to make sure that the entire company is aware of compliance requirements and issuesDevelop internal controls and policies designed to ensure that all compliance needs are metIdentify and review insurance requirements for business, product and service and ensure that appropriate schemes are in placeMaintain efficient financial information systems in the organization to enable the management team to take appropriate and timely actionsBuild internal financial controls within the company and ensure all financial activities are performed in accordance with the financial controlsAnalyse costs across the organization, implement cost control measures and ensure proper implementation and ensure profitabilityJob Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 15 years’ experience in finance and accounting, in multinational companyRecognized professional qualification (qualified accountant)Experienced in managing Accounting, Tax, Finance, and IT teamFamiliar with SAP system and applicationFluent in English both oral and writtenUnderstand business circumstances in IndonesiaStrong understanding in relevant legislation and regulation in IndonesiaStrong experience in import process (purchasing) and tradingGood leadership and developing othersStrong analytical skills Strong time management / strong ability to manage to deadlines Good knowledge on crisis management principlesGood problem-solving approachEffective relationship management and communication skillsAble to give and receive feedback, effective communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, effective presentation skills
