Job Description
Analyze strategic, financial, and organizational data of clients to offer advice on compensation and talent management solutions.Conduct research and analysis to comprehend business and industry challenges, including business strategy, company performance, compensation and benefits practices and trends, and talent management best practices.Establish compensation structures, including base salary and incentive plans, for the Executive level.Have experience leading pay equity projects at the provincial or federal level.Participate in team brainstorming sessions to develop recommendations for clients.Prepare presentations for clients, including boards of directors, senior executives, and HR leaders. Conduct a comparative analysis of executive compensation in publicly traded companies.Take part in the design and implementation of job evaluation or classification systems.
The Successful Applicant
Advanced degree in Business, Human Resources, Finance, or related field preferred.Demonstrated ability to drive revenue generation and business development while being recognized as a trusted advisor in Executive Compensation or Executive Rewards Consulting.Exceptional leadership skills to inspire, guide, and empower teams for outstanding results.Extensive experience in executive compensation design, analysis, and implementation, with in-depth industry knowledge and best practices.Outstanding communication and presentation skills, enabling effective interactions with clients, C-suite executives, and internal stakeholders.Possesses strong business acumen and strategic mindset, capable of identifying and capitalizing on market opportunities.Relevant professional certifications like Certified Compensation Professional, Global Remuneration Profession, or Certified Executive Compensation Professional are advantageous, but not required.Skills and experiences to lead and grow an impactful Executive Compensation or Executive Rewards Consulting practice, with significant board and C-Suite interaction, potentially in a reputable global consulting firm or similar environment.
