We are currently partnering with an IT infrastructure company who is currently expanding their business to Indonesia and is looking for a competent Operations Director to help them in this time of growth.
Job Description
Financial Accountability: You will have bottom-line responsibility for our market unit’s service and project business, with a primary focus on meeting annual budget targets for revenue and margin. Your financial acumen will be essential in achieving our business objectives.
Advocate for Safety and Compliance: Uphold our commitment to safety, ethics, and compliance, ensuring that all operations adhere to the highest standards of integrity and responsibility.
Stakeholder Relationships: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, positioning our market unit as the preferred service provider in the industry.
Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire our local services operations team, focusing on talent management, professional development, and effective management of external stakeholder relationships.
Customer-Centric Approach: Drive the successful delivery of customer outcomes across our service execution business, ensuring customer satisfaction remains a top priority.
Operational Excellence: Set and monitor service operational objectives and key results (OKRs) to ensure they consistently meet preset standards of excellence.
Project Management Oversight: Provide strategic leadership for our local Project Management team, overseeing project delivery milestones, profitability, variation order management, and stakeholder relationships.
Operational Efficiency: Collaborate closely with service administration and supply chain teams to optimise operational support, aligning processes with commercial and business requirements.
Team Development: Lead and nurture your team, fostering a high-performance culture that aligns with company growth and evolving needs.
Customer Engagement: Understand customer needs through close interactions, site visits, team surveys, and collaborative focus groups to continually enhance our service offerings.
The Successful Applicant
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, along with a minimum of 10 years of experience in team management. Having an MBA is an advantage.Experience in operations management and service contract management is required.Effective leadership skills, including ability to manage diverse team, are required.Excellent communication skills (English and Bahasa Indonesia), both in conveying technical information and in customer-facing interactions, are highly valued.Previous background in data centre facilities management is an advantage.Ability to work in a matrix reporting environment.
