The role holder will be required to assist the Manager of Projection, Business Planning and Forecasting (PBF) Actuarial IFRS 17 by working independently and managing Actuarial IFRS 17 PBF team members

  • Review and produce projection and forecast of financials and MI reports such as Source of Earning (SoE), CSM roll-forward, Operating Profit, Balance Sheet etc. under IFRS 17 in cooperation with IFRS 17 Accounting and Finance
  • Perform analytical review projection and forecast of financial and MI results to provide comfort to Head of IFRS 17 Actuarial, Head of IFRS 17, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
  • Perform bridging projection and forecast of financial and MI results against actual reporting such as CSM and RA amortization, claim variance, expense variance, Net Investment result etc and against business plan from other reporting basis (e.g. EEV, Local) including NBP and SHF bridging to provide comfort to Head of IFRS 17 Actuarial, Head of IFRS 17, Chief Actuary, and CFO.
  • Collaborate with PCA Country Performance Management team to manage the process of review and sign-off on the projection and forecast financial and MI reports;
  • Identify and address defects in the projection and forecast solutions and methodology in collaboration with PCA IFRS 17 Technical team.
